Olin Chlor Alkali offers opportunities for experienced candidates in a number of fields.

Hiring Process for Experienced Professionals

Step 1: Submit an Application and Resume Online

Olin Chlor Alkali will only accept applications submitted through our online application system. In order to be considered for any type of position at Olin Chlor Alkali, you will need to fill out the online application. It is the goal of Olin to hire the most qualified person for each opportunity.

Unsolicited resumes and those that are mailed or e-mailed to Human Resources will not be considered.

Once you have submitted an online application for an open position, our recruiting department will review it and notify you if you have been selected to participate in the next step of the recruiting process.

Step 2: Phone Interview

After resumes and applications have been reviewed, selected candidates will be contacted to arrange a phone interview. This is a 30-45 minute conversation with Olin employees that gives you the opportunity to share detailed information about how you have performed in previous work-related situations. We’ll ask you to share with us examples or specific situations that you’ve encountered and dealt with in the past. In addition, we’ll ask you about your interests and give you an opportunity to inquire about our organization and career opportunities.

Step 3: Site Interview

If selected for an on site interview, you will be assessed on a set of competencies through both one-on-one and panel interviews with current Olin employees. The primary purpose of the interview process is to assess your technical and cultural fit with our needs. It also serves as a way for you to gain a better understanding of the current opportunities available and the Olin organization.

Step 4: Job Offer

Based on the results of the interview, you may be extended a job offer. Our offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening, physical examination and background check.
