Our initiatives stem from a program established by the American Chemical Council called Responsible Care®.
Olin repeatedly goes further than what is required. We voluntarily conduct joint and proactive studies with
the EPA. Everything we do is designed to eliminate any emergency situation.
There are seven key responsibilities: community awareness and emergency response, polution prevention, security, distribution,
employee health and safety, process safety and product stewardship. Olin Chlor-Alkali continues to be recognized
as one of the industry’s best performers.
